Jeff Flanary

Jeff came to UMT in 2021 with 39 years experience in the construction industry including construction management, welding and millwright service. He attended the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology and received his CWI certification from the American Welding Society. After joining Universal Machine & Tool he facilitated the U & R stamp certifications from ASME and the National Board that expanded the weld shop capabilities to include manufacturing and repair of pressure vessels.

He is a lifelong resident of Scott County, VA, where he resides with his wife Sandy, their daughter and son and four grandchildren. An avid equestrian, his spare time is spent working at his barn, riding and showing horses,  and enjoying their farm land on the Northfork of the Holston River.
